Low control pressure and/or high system pressure????

forgive me for "top-postng", but those symptoms sound a bit litke an
idle switch that is not opening. Check the two switches on the thorttle
body... one for "wide open" and one for "idle" - are they both working
properly?
A busted idle switch can stop higher revs...
