Tiptronic transmission

No, I'm not confused. I know the difference between a real manual, DSG, normal automatic, and a tiptronic automatic. I've driven all 4 (thanks to my work as a modertor on Fourtitude) and owned 3 out of 4. To me, the DSG is nice if you can't get a manual...but it's still an automatic. Sure, it doesn't have a torque converter...but it's still automatic. I'd rather have my old Coupe GT with a real manual than a Audi RS4 with a DSG. Very few cars work well with automatics...and then only for specific purposes (like towing my boat, or as a daily driver for the wife).
