Center Carrier bearings and where did reverse go?

Just picked up an 87 4kq CS Commemorative edition (the all white ones
with white wheels) for $100 for my fiancee after she totalled her car
last week. Already swapped brake caliper from my race car and rear
window from said race car but the center carrier bearing on the drive
shaft is...to puy it lightly, floppy.
After reading the bently, looks like I need a special alignment tool
to keep the d/s aligned correctly? Any good BTDT's out there. I can
grab the one of my racer for now, or should I go get that BMW one that
swaps in as well? Can I get the pn for that too?

Got the car all finished up went to back out of my drive way and
instead drove squarely into the fron of my race car...scratches
head....no reverse to be found. Is there a common linkeage that comes
undone or how.what do I check. The bentley is no good here at all
unless I want to disasemble the tranny...Im not going that far.

Other then the above it runs great, has a nice suspension (KYB GR2),
fresh t-belt and tune up and the body is solid to boot. It'll be a
great parts car for me when she's done with it.

Please help if you can, she has an interview tomorrow and needs to be
able to get there w/o my car...
