The basic idea is to use any holes that might already be in the part.
generally you'll never see the 'nick' in the coat if you use a bolt hole
thats going to be used once assembled.

There are other ways to do it as well.. if there is a stud sticking off
of the part you can use two nuts to clamp down on a wire and hang the
piece by that.

If there is no other way to attach the part and it has to be laid down
on a rack, you can coat/cook one side at a time.  The trick when baking
the second side is to apply high temp masking tape (typically used to
create more than one color on a part) over the areas that will be
touching the rack.

and just like with spray paint, there's always the option of adding
another coat.
