Wow, that site is seriously good.

Here's the type of issue I'm confronted with though, have a look at this

These are all supposed to be rear main seals, but as you can see one of 
these things is not like the other....   Who's had this part in thier hand 
and can tell me which is right?

   Drive axle seals, three different ones.   These all look the same at 
least, but range in price from $1.94-$3.17.  Obviously this isn't huge 
money, and I'd have no problem springing for the most expensive one, but 
there's no differentiating information.  How do you choose?   (I'm inclined 
to go German....)

   These two parts look subtly different, and another site recommended 
seeing what you had before ordering.  I'd rather not do that if I can avoid 
it- any tribal wisdom I can use for guidance?
