Congrats Marques! We know you have been working for a long time on this. I
know what this swap is like - BTDT several times with this and similar.
Always worth it in the end, even though sometime you begin to regret it
during the process..

For those that have been following/helping me along the way..
Finally got my 4ktq on the road. After burning up two MAC 11's(bad fuse
box/wiring), I finally got most things sorted out on this car. It's an MC1,
running CIS with the MAC 11 ECU. I swapped out the k26 for a k24 from an S6,
used the airbox/igloo/downpipe/intercooler/oil cooler from an UrQ. This
car has GOBS of power/torque. I can cruise around in fifth gear all day and
do double takes at the shifter, all day, because I think I'm in third! It
took about 6 weeks of actual work to the car,
but I researched the swap for quite some time. Things got more complicated
when I got happy with a cut off wheel and hacked through a heater core hose
while relocating the battery, but It was most likely due for replacement
anyway..Still have to hook up the after run for the coolant pump(not too
worried about the injector cooling) and the auxiliary gauges I put in the
center vent. Overall, well worth the effort. So to anyone that contemplates
this swap...Don't contemplate too long...DO IT. Thanks to Marc, Alan, Ben,
Mike, Javad, just to name a few off the top of my head.
Marques
