5kcstq cruise control non-op

After years of it usually working, my cruise control
is now kaput. No real symptoms per se, just doesn't
respond to 'set' button.  Before, it might take a few
tries and it would finally work. It would sometimes
turn itself off as well.

Not a biggie, but I do a lot of long trips so cc is
nice to have. What to check? Common issues?
