Can you get any sort of tubing in there (like aquarium airline)?  If you 
can, you try to siphon it out.  With decent access of course, a basting 
bulb thing works fine.  If you can't get any out from the top, I'd at 
least bleed it very low before adding fresh, to minimize mixing.
