Remove knee pad on 94 90S

Hi all,

I'm still trying to find the relay that's causing the fan to stay on.  I did
some research at the library and found that relay 18 that is behind the
drivers side kneepad controls the afterrun fan.   Looks like there are 4
screws or bolts holding the kneepad in and 2 of them are covered by a
circular plastic cover.  Can someone tell me how to remove this?  I tried
gently prying with a screwdriver but it just wonn't pop.  I was causing some
cosmetic damage to the cover and the knee pad by prying around so I must be
doing something wrong.   I have this same plastc plugs on my 92 100CSQ so I
guess these plugs must be widely used on other models.

Can anyone provide assistance?
