Warning light on dash

Has the instrument cluster ever been out of the dash? If so, chances are
someone may have put the bulb/socket into the wrong place on the back of the
cluster. I'm pretty sure that symbol you describe is for the DRL's (Canada
only). On my '92 100S, the seatbelt, air bag and check engine lights come on
with the ignition in this bank of lights, and then go out.

Subject: Warning light on dash

Patient is a '96 A6 quattro avant. There's a warning light on the dash that
I can't identify. It's to the right of the main cluster, in the warning
light area (not part of the autocheck). Green light, looks like two lights
facing one another. I would have thought that this is a bulb out indicator,
but that's in the autocheck, and as far as I can tell, all the exterior
lights are working fine.

The light comes on with the ignition.

Can someone identify this warning light?

Thanks,

Lee
