WTB: urQ in next 12-18 Months - Questions

Howdy All & Happy Holidays,

I am fortunate enough to have a small chunk of change coming to me late in 2006, and in classic fashion I already have some of it spent. Spent on my dream car, the urQ. It's a bit early I know, but I'd like to be as prepared as possible, to ensure I get the best possible car.

At the moment I know that I would like an '84 or higher due to the fuse box issue, but otherwise I am pretty light on urQ knowledge. I have two type44 turbo cars (Avants), so I am familiar with forced induction and awd/Quattro ala Audi. I plan on spending around $10,000, and hope to get one with an MC1 or 3B in it, along with turbo and/or suspension upgrades.

Any help in regard to things to look out for, and/or knowledge of urQs looking for a new home is greatly  appreciated.
