Heater core replacement on '86 80 without AC

  It's pretty easy, really; the tough part is getting the hoses clamped back 
on the new core given the limited amount of space to get your hands in 
there.  I'd certainly recommend replacing the hoses too since you have to do 
83% of the same labor for this job.

   Think I paid about 50 USD for the new core.

  One other thing to watch out for is getting the little cap that covers the 
edge of the core off; on one car I snapped off the tabs and had to glue it 
into place during reassembly.  Not the end of the world, but not sano 
either.
