Was your timing belt old, Denis? I had mine replaced about 5,000 miles
ago so I shouldnt have any teeth shaved off.
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!

My 5 cyl felt that way cause the timing belt jumped 3 teeth and the
fuel pressure regulator got from 90si to 65psi,

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I'm going to do some more
checking tomorrow (in the light) and see what I can find out. I just
checked to see if I could see an arcing from the distributor cap in the
dark and couldn't see anything.
I don't think my acceleration is quite as good as it had previously
been, but then again I'm super-paranoid about everything with the car
right now. After going up a steep hill, I also have to be on a
flat/downhill for a good 1/4 mile or so before it wants to "get back to
normal" and accelerate properly. I live in a rural area so it's hard to
ever get the car too fast(never gone faster than 90), but I tried to get
the RPMs up today after the trouble on the mountain just to see if it
would work. It went up to about 70-75 and the RPMs never went much
higher than 3,000-3,200.
Thanks again, SO MUCH, for the suggestions. I'll keep everyone updated
as I trouble shoot this!
Tony
