86 5kcstq 5-speed

Hi Listers,

I have bought a 86 5kcstq and have replaced fuel filter, air filter and the 
fuel pump relay. My problem is that when I coast up to a stop the car will 
sometimes die on me. Not always just on occasion. If I leave it in gear it 
will keep running but start to shake like I am playing with the clutch. So 
if I downshift at every light or stopsign I am okay. When it does die it 
will take three or four times getting it started. I have also noticed that 
the BAR display will start on 2.1 and then fall off to 0.4 or 0.5 when 
idling. I did not check before but I do not get a reading above 1.0 in the 
first three gears, all of yesterday and today. This does seem to happen on 
rainy days more than not. But it is Oregon and so I am curious what others 
have experienced. I will be heading back to Vegas tomorrow  and was also 
curious what kind of mileage I should expect. Right now it is mostly city 
driving and I get about 15-18 mpg.
