Congratulations, Mike. I'm a fan of the 300D as well. 

2 years ago, I test drove a 300D that had less than 60k miles on it. Of course,
these cars can, and will, be around forever. 

The biggest reason for me to walk away, other than the LARGE price of $11k, was
the fact that my long legs had a tough time getting in and around the enormous
steering wheel.

It's a beautiful cruiser, though, ain't it? You're going to have to time your
entrance from a full on stop, but once the turbo kicks in it's as capable as
anything on the road. Sort of. ;-)

Oh, and I agree... the sunroof is HUGE!
