Around THIS part of Michigan, the two-lane highways are clogged with
biddies afraid to exceed 35 (even though they'll speed in towns) if there's
a hint of slip on the pavement. My daily 60-mile commute can take more
than two hours when there are lines of a dozen cars or more behind one of
these fools who won't buy awd or decent winter tires. I'm not fearless,
but I can very safely drive at normal highway speeds if I can see down the
road far enough for my Nokian Q's to stop me.
