[LAC] opinions on in-home-garage lifts?

There was just a discussion regarding this topic on one of the British car
lists I subscribe to.... The general consensus was that the 2-post lifts
are better than the 4-post (a coupe of listers had trouble with binding at
one of the 4 posts with consequent tilting of the platform and the
problems that would ensue....). The other item mentioned is making sure
whatever system you purchase has a foolproof lock-out mechanism.
