not true.
torsens can be towed with either end in the air, but not faster than 50km/hr
or for more than 50km. the issue is due to lubrication in the (centre)
differential the lack of which leads to high wear, and failure.
a v8 with a wet clutch centre would be different.
the 50km/hr for < 50km stipulation in for all the torsen cars i have owned
(s2, rs2, 20v ur-q, s8)...

You can tow other quattro models slowly for short distances with all four
down. But not Torsen center diffy models.
