When my oil cooler lines were weeping, my mechanic said
they could last a long time, or they could go tomorrow.
They went within a month.  Replaced the cooler and lines
with a used unit.  Those hoses sprung a leak.  Replaced
that mess with an after market kit:

That popped a hose due to a loose hose clamp.

Those oil spills earned the car the name "Bad Puppy",
for alway marking its territory.
