Later 100/A6 (typC4) dashboard into early 200 typ 44

Hi there,
Someone tried to put dashboard and door panels from Audi 100/A6 (typ C4) into
early ('84-'88) typ44?
is it possible to get this thing into typ44 or is it too wide to go there?
