Nope - running the best stuff I can buy and over $2 a gallon here in
Colorado right now (ouch!). But you are right, bad or low octane gas causes
very similar symptoms with the check engine light flickering under load
(you're not the only idiot out there who has run 87! I'll borrow the dunce
cap from you when you're done with it! LOL!). The code points to, if I can
trust it - the intake air sensor.
I've never dealt with any sensors before, so looking for input from the
list, especially where it is located on the engine since I don't have the
Bentley handy. Figure I'll check the wiring and replace it if it doesn't
cost too much.
