NAC Starting Problem

 Fords are notorious for bad starter relays, particularly the fender mounted 
relays. Had a similar problem with my '91 XR7. If replacing it, ask for the 
"Blue" one. They come in two grades. See if it will start if you jump the relay. 
Also, some fords in that period had two "relays", one on the fender well and 
one on the starter.

I am inclined toward the relay from experience, but the ignition switch and 
neutral safety switch are good possibilities.
