Yup, in addition to increasing the car's polar moment of inertia (already substantial) making it change direction more slowly, albeit slightly. Not what I want. I thought it was a pretty radical modification just to get more weight over the rear tires, but I've never calculated where the roll axis on the car is. You're right.
