My only problem with them is that, depending on the size of the drain plug (on my car it's a 26mm diameter), you end up leaving about a 1/2" of dirty oil in the pan.  If I had one of those I would jack up the car on the opposite side enough to make sure you're actually draining everything, or at least as much as you can.  Just something to consider.
