Actually my 42lb/hr injectors are high impedance, which is much easier to
make run properly (on low impedance you have to either make resistor packs
or tune PWM settings - both not very hard, but more work).
Racetronix.com (thanks Jim for pointing them out!) is where I would suggest
buying injectors. I'm about to place an order for some larger ones once I
can come up with the money ;-).

I salvage them. The very best car to get them from that I have found is
anything with a Chevvy LT1 engine ('90-96 Camaro, Firebird, Caprise police
edition, Impalla SS, some others) because the pigtails have very nice
cylinder numbers stamped into them and even painted in the stamping.
Painless Wiring makes new harnesses for these cars (and many others) that we
use in our V8 944 conversions and they use the same pigtails. I think if you
called them you might be able to convince them to sell a set, but I haven't
tried yet.

Like what? Really the only fab work is the rail (which you could also buy
anyway), and the brackets needed are simple to make, just to straight to the
valve cover studs in two locations. For the new air intake use the stock
pipe that would go to the CIS airflow meter boot, but just stick a K&N
filter on the end of it and tilt it away from the turbo. If you're feeling
creative you could even make an aluminium heat shield... use the same
mounting screws that Audi did on the stock engine mount heat shield.
