So Scott, tell us more. Whose lines were they, crimped construction or
proper fittings?

I can see what is written on the line, doesn't say who built it, though.

You have a good example of why not to run stainless lines, although
I've never had any issues, nor anyone I know personally.

Regardless of what Brett says, I'll stick with biannual replacement
and continue to use stainless lines (actually will switch to
Aramid/Teflon this time). The non-DOT approved lines with proper
Aeroquip fittings don't come apart. The crimps on DOT-approved lines
can fail.
