AAA towing (was Re: Weird tire wear - 2000 A6Q)

My best AAA story was a friend who bought and restored
cheap Rabbits. Since they were all old and decrepit, he
had good AAA coverage.

Once he bought one with a siezed/dismantled engine. Swapped
the title papers, called AAA to say "my car won't start",
and they towed it home for him, 50 miles away.
