Check engine light update

Thanks to everyone who responded to my desperate plea about the check engine light on my 99.5 A4 1.8T. After I wrote the list, the car acted up again so I was able to get it in the garage and figure out what was wrong. Replacing the ignition control module did the trick -- it's been driving fine ever since, and the check engine light is now off. And, most importantly, the car went 300 miles to get me home today without a hitch.

Since replacing the ICM the car has stumbled a few times, very minorly. I'm going to check the spark plugs and make sure the coilpacks are seated correctly; hopefully that will do the trick.

Thanks again to everyone for their help. I've been on this list since 1996 (when I got my first Audi; I'm now on my third) and have been very grateful the few times I've had to post for help.

-Mike
