FW: fixed my alignment, now oil temperature

Has to be a gauge/electrical issue. Even if you heat up the oil that
fast, no way it would cool down that quickly. Oil won't drop 50 degrees
F in 5-10 seconds. Assuming you have the right quantity of oil, check
your wires and make sure nothing is grounding out when the motor twists.
Also check the MFTS, it has been known to be the cause of many gremlins.
Finally, could be a sending unit on the way out. If the oil light
doesn't flash when the gauge goes haywire, then the oil temp isn't
changing, making a radical change. Assuming the light is OK, next stop is
sending unit.

Jerry
