Return of the 5 cylinder for VW/Audi?

Page 31 of the febuary issue of Car and Driver, there's a write up on
the 2006 VW Jetta. in the article it states that one of the options
will be a 2.5L 150HP, 170FT/lb inline 5 cylinder w/FSI (not to be
confused with the VR5 offered in Europe). Anybody have more info on
this motor? I'd be very interested to see if that will fit one of our
classic Audi's. Apparently it's a direct descendent of VW's original 4
banger for the Rabbit, much like the 5cyl in 4k's,5k's, Ur-q's etc.
I'd love to see that swap done with a turbo thrown in too. Oh the
possibilities...
