Strange intermittent starting problem... Update

Happy Monday,

First, I hope I wrote individually to all those who provided guidance. If 
not, it was an oversight. I do thank you all.

Saturday, my SO and I replaced the ignition switch as suggested. The 
information from this group was invaluable. The operation seems to have been 
a success and the starting problems have gone away.

It was funny that reconnecting the 16 pin connector seemed to be impossible 
until we went inside to warm our hands (it was below freezing). Then it went 
together in seconds.

I really, really appreciate your help!!!! Thank you again.
