interesting problem with 5000tq

hi,Everybody.I just checked my mail.I will go tommorow`and check for ecu codes.
I do have bentley manual for 5000,but it is in binders(I have copied it)so I am
not sure if everything is in,so I may need some help.I will see what I have.
questin.
Is it possible that rpm,or hall sensor are bad,but car has a spark,on sjm it says
that is not possible to get any spark if one of these sensor are not working.
