You know you've been on this list too long when...

Hey, I know how you feel: I just came back to the List after buying an '87, and....

For the older cars, the archives are almost encyclopedic, for the newer cars it seems perhaps that the dealers are jam-packed with...but hey, isn't that why we're here?

This weekend I was surfing around (outside Audifans) and thought I had something more to say about fastener torque values (which, credit where it's due -- Phil Payne has always been a bit of a stickler about) and came across this website:

http://www.boltscience.com

I actually thought I had something new to add to the archives on that short thread (no pun intended) until I searched the archives and found THIS:

http://www.audifans.com/pipermail/quattro/20021028/064237.html

So I guess I won't have anything 'new' to contribute to the knowledge of Type 44's...at least until I start the alcantara reupholstery job (soon), then the stereo upgrade, then...

Ain't it terrible? ;)

Cheers,
Alex
