Not that I enjoy dealing with most of them but have you tried your
local Audi stealer? I recently did an axle boot job on the front right
of a 200tq and managed to cut the boot on the ball joint while
separating it from the strut. Not wanting to have to replace the whole
control arm I inquired at the stealer to see if the boot was available
as a separate item. Lo and behold it was. At $25 bucks it would almost
have made economic sense to get a control arm via The Parts Connection
but I couldn't stand the thought of circular filing a perfectly good
control arm when the only thing wrong was a bad boot.
