KH engine question

I have a KH engine in my 4ktq. The KH engine is smaller displacement
than the MC engines. It does this by having a smaller bore, but the
same stroke. The pistons will be different. They are the same
diameter as a 1.7l VW I think, but definately different pieces as they
are dished and the wrist pin height is different.
KH blocks can not have MC heads on them without machine work. The cam
shafts are quite different which I think is the major power difference
between the two vehicles. The KH does have oil squirters on the
pistons like the MC. The KH also has a smaller outlet diameter on its
turbo. This likely contributes to the power difference also.
Here is a picture of my pistons during assembly. I have another
picture somewhere of them out of the block. I ceramic coated the tops
and teflon coated the skirts. Don't know much it changes things, but
the price was right.
