Yes, I have been told as much. When Clair quoted me $75.00, I was told it was 
a "minimum labor charge" for removal, etc. I had the radio in my hand but 
there was no "procedure" to vary the charge. When I went to the VW dealer for the 
number, he told me there was a "minimum labor charge" of $25.00, which 
included pulling the radio. Since I had the radio in my hand, they waived the 
charge.
