1993 100: need to obtain radio code

Guys--did you see my reply last night? I observed a computer printed 4
digit number on the radio 0182. Sure enough it's the code to unlock the
radio.

I can only guess that the dealer requires the VIN to update some
database which helps track (for security reasons?) which vehicle the
radio is installed.

Again this is for a 1993 100--I could imagine that security has been
enhanced in the newer radios and some form of VIN/Radio# combo is
require to fully activate the radio.
