My recommendation would be to get something narrower than 225/45R17
for your TT- the car is too light to be able to bite into snow with
that size of tire, esp. considering that you live in WI.

205/50R17 or 205/55R16 would be the way to go. I learned the hard way
with 225/45 on a similar weight car- poor traction in fresh snow, very
poor.
