UrS4 issues

I had this same issue with my '91 90q 20v. The "20v List" procedures for this are a little different from what I've read here. The main divergence being the use of Pentosin to lube the o-ring. Many 20v'ers were not successful using this method.

Instead, we lubed the 0-ring with high pressure grease. The torque required to seat the o-ring will disfigure it if it's not properly lubed. Bathing it in G002000 for several hours may achieve the desired result though - never tried it.

I purchased the pump rebuild kit to get the o-rings (I think it comes with 2). It was about $45.

Others have purchased a "2-018" ring made of Vitone as a replacement and have had good results. A Denver company called Rocket Seals (http://www.rocketseals.com)sells them - you may be able to get them elsewhere as well.

Caveat - this is for the PS pump on the 20v NA I-5 found in '90 and '91 in Coupes and 90 sedans. I don't know about the fitment on others.
