i replaced both, actually. the ignition lock cylinder was sticking and,
at one point, it just stopped working (the key wouldnt turn the lock).
i replaced the cylinder with a used unit and then put a new ignition
switch (electrical part) in because i was in there. is it possible the
switch is bad or maybe it was bad out of the box? it worked for for
about half of a year.
