Not that I want to contradict you, but you can reuse the copper crush
washers. Someone on this list -who is old enough to remember the British
motorcycles - told us to anneale (sp?) the washers by heating them with a
simple propane torch, and reuse them. I did this a couple times, and no
leak so far. But I agree with you, replace them if you have some, it is
cheap insurance.
