20V 90Q - rare? or not?

Hello everyone,

Having only owned my '88 80Q (since it was a baby) I don't know anything 
about the 20v cars. 

Someone I know who is not knowledgeable about Audis but who races an Alfa 
has suddenly decided he wants a 20v 90 Quattro. He wants me to help him 
and he's looking to me as the expert. HAH!

He says these cars are rare and hard to come by. Is that really true?
