it *IS* a turbo.   i replied to your vortex post as well.  its a fwd  5spd. 
turbo.  look at the pics..its got the turbo dash, turbo headlights, and what 
really gives it away - the pics of the engine, its got the turbo intake and the 
turbo afterrun coolant pump. its a turbo!!    anyway,   5spd fwd turbos were 
made 86-87..(maybe 88 as well?)  but they were rare.  most fwd turbos were 
automatics as im sure you know.  i used to own a '86 5kTurbo, non quattro, 5 
speed.  fun car..fast as hell without all the heavy quattro drivetrain..  i wish i 
hadnt sold it.. at the time i didnt realise how rare it was. 

anyway, being that this is a rare 5spd fwd turbo, it should probably make it 
*rarer* but most people want the Q..   (not me!)
