It just occurred to me that the location I used for my gauge sender is before the oil filter. I'm wondering it the standard sender for the oil pressure warning light is checking the pressure after the filter and if that is indeed where my additional sender should go. Otherwise, if the filter is getting clogged and close to setting off the low pressure warning light will I be able tell with my gauge or will it instead read high?
