There are scads of Type 44 cars from the late 1980s that have those same
seats that should be available for under $2K.  Some in pretty good shape
for a little more.

Sounds like you have a blown head gasket.  I don't see why that would
require a new engine.  The dealership isn't going to offer you a used
engine from a junkyard, so that's not the place for that sort of replacement.
