$15k and less can also get you a 2001 or older A6 in
the 40k-60k mileage range.  Maybe not as fun to drive
as the S6.  Also available are the 2000 A6 2.7tt.  

I don't think any of them would have the warranty
though but you can look into buying extended waranties
from a thrid party.  Some dealers also offer extended
waranties.
