more radio Help '97 A8 Delta CC

OK i got the radio out at the Best Buy in Destin, FL The kid there was eager to help and had it out in about 10 sec! (tipped him $5 and worth it!)
After pulling the radio, The serial number is the same that is in my manual so im not sure why the code will not work.
Any one got any ideas?
