to grease or de-grease, that is the question

I have been known to apply anti-sieze on things like
wheel bolts, as I don't want them to be so corroded
when I am changing a spare at the side of the road.

When having tires replaced, an ML washed all the paste
off the lug bolts and in the hubs/drums with brake
cleaner.

Brake cleaner is a fabulous solvent for greasy stuff.
