Bosch fuel injector questions

- About the rates, believe to be same but would confirm tomorrow. Should
to have an old injector that came the hut top somewhere in the garage.
- You should replace the hut only if new injector has a flat top with
the injector orifice in line with the top surface, because the metal hut
is the spray shaping device, but if there is a spray shaping dip already
machined into the top surface of the new injector, the hut isn't needed.
In that case the plastic shroud needs to be changed as well, together
with all other seals. For the ease of recognition, the flat ibjector top
is non metal, while shaped top is made of metal. Also make sure that you
tighten the injector seat & shroud combo well, and re tighten them after
few months of use. Obligatory procedure as it happens.
HTH, cheers,
