I took the car for a timing belt replacement and it still started hard.
Ran a little better, but hard cold starting.

Took it to Sedona European guy 3 times and each time the car
came back with less power.
THe first time it was a little smooth running, but had no
power up hills.

Now I can barely get the car to move down the driveway.
it will run but doesn't want to move very fast at all

20 yrs exp. parts manager thinks

(1)
Catalitic converter (which I asked my husband to replace 3 years ago)
It sounds hot and "crinkly" if that makes sense.

(2)
Turbo plunger has seiged up.

Cat shouldn't be too hard to replace.

What about that Turbo plunger.
Is that a matter of freeing it up.
Grinding some off the side,
replacing a part?

Can I get a rebuilt Turbo for the car by itself?
How much will that cost.

I have a rental car today and am free to drive down
to Phoenix. It is almost Noon here and will outta time
soon.

Need answers quick! Thanks !!!!!
